Ronald Kampamba’s only goal in the 55th minute was enough to see Napsa drop to fourth position and maintain 37 points on the MTN/FAZ super league log after today’s match played at Nkana Stadium in Kitwe.
It was a tightly contested week 22 match which also saw Napsa’s goalkeeper Rabson Muchelenganga deny Nkana a chance to extend lead when he saved a penalty which was taken by Nkana Star, Walter Bwalya in the 90th minute.
Napsa coach Tenant Chilumba said in a post match interview that the result is disappointing especially coming from another loss from Power Dynamos last weekend.
The team has not registered a win in five games now, with the other three matches ending in a draw.
“We just have to continue pushing the boys to finish on top four, there is too much pressure being in the top. This is now our job as technical bench to work on defense,”Coach Chilumba said.
Meanwhile Nkana coach Beston Chambeshi added that Napsa gave Nkana a good run.Nkana has moved to sixth position with 35 points on the log.
Napsa’s next match is a week 23 fixture against Nkwazi Football Club at Edwin Imboela Stadium in Lusaka.
