NAPSA Stars football club head coach Tenant Chilumba has described yesterday’s team’s loss to Nkwazi Football Club as disappointing.

Napsa lost 1-2 to Nkwazi in a week 23 MTN/FAZ super league match which was played at Lusaka’s Edwin Imboela Stadium yesterday.

It was former Napsa Stars player Davie Kalandanya that gave Napsa an early punishment when he scored in the 8th minute, with Stewart Chikandiwa adding another goal in the 40th minute.

Despite having a welll coordinated second half, Napsa only managed to pull one back when Simon Nkhata scored from close range in 75th minute.

Coach Chilumba in a post match interview told Napsa Stars media that his side did not play its usual game adding that the technical bench will continue pushing the players.

“We have played so many games maybe that is the excuse we can give for now, but the result is disappointing,” Chilumba said.

Napsa drops to position six maintaining 37 points on the log, with the team dating Zesco United in a week 24 encounter slated for Levy Mwanawasa Stadium this Sunday.
