Napsa Stars FC are through to final of the Barclays Cup competition after eliminating champions Zesco United.
The Linos Makwaza coached side beat zesco 4-2 on match penalties after the game ended 0-0 after 90 minutes in a match that was played at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.
Alex Mwamba was first to step up to the challenge when he scored the first penalty kick for Napsa Stars.
David Odiambo scored the first penalty for Zesco with Solomon Sakala scoring the second one for Napsa .
Jessica Were equalised the affair but Austin Banda scored for Napsa to separate the two sides.
Dickson Chapa missed Napsa’s only penalty kick with Fackson Kapumbu and Maybin kalengo missing the two other penalties for Zesco United.
It was Collins Sikombe that scored the last one for Napsa to see the team go through to the final of the Barclays Cup competition.
Napsa will face winner between Zanaco and Lusaka Dynamos in a final match set for Heroes Stadium on October 28.
