Napsa Stars acting head coach Linos Makwaza says the Barclays Cup title is a must win for Napsa Stars.

Makwaza was speaking during a pre-match press briefing Organized by Barclays Bank and Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) at Football House this morning, that Napsa wants to rewrite the 2012 history by winning the cup again.

Napsa is set to meet Zanaco this Saturday in a final match of the Barclays competition set for Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.

Napsa qualified to the final stage after beating former champions Green Buffaloes FC and current Champions Zesco United FC.


Coach Makwaza said Napsa wants to show appreciation to NAPSA management and Napsa Stars FC fans for the support rendered by winning this competition.

And Zanaco assistant Coach Dabid Chilufya said during the same event that the Barclays cup was important to Zanaco as they want to win it for the first time.

He said Zanaco is happy to be in the final once again and are working hard to get the title this time around.

Zanaco skipper Ziyo Tembo said Zanaco is expecting a tough game adding that the team will work to the best of their ability to come up with the result.

Napsa captain Fred Musinde said the Barclays cup is a different ball game despite the two teams drawing both matches of the league competition.

Musinde said Napsa is ready to meet Zanaco once again.

And Barclays are delighted to sponsor this cup for the 11th time this year.

Meanwhile FAZ has announced gate charges as K5 children, K10 Eastern wing, K25 Western wing and k150 for VIP.
