Napsa Stars Football Club has entered day four of training with Coach Linos Makwaza feeling optimistic with the season to come.
Makwaza has had a chance to also look at new players during this four days, with the coach being happy with some players.
The team re-grouped on Thursday last week and the coach is confident that he will assemble a formidable team as the 2018 season commences this March.
The acting head coach told Napsa Stars FC media today that this four days has been productive for the technical bench as they have also managed to look at one or two players who look set to join the team.
“So far so good, the team is slowly getting there. We just regrouped last week on Thursday so everyone is still trying to perfect things. I’m happy that we have also managed to spot one or two players so we shall engage them. We shall be ready before the season starts,” Makwaza says.
Makwaza and his technical bench are expected to identify 35 players that will be set to travel to Livingstone on Sunday next week for a pre-season outing which is scheduled to last for two weeks.
The team is currently holding their training sessions at Napsa’s Sports Complex.
Napsa finished on seventh position last season with 58 points.
