Physical trainer Lenox Changala says the two-week outing in Livingstone was a success for the Napsa Stars team.
Napsa Stars Football Club was in the tourist capital for two weeks to intensively prepare for the 2018 FAZ/MTN super league season, with coach Changala saying he is happy with the current physical fitness of the players.
Coach Changala said in an interview with Napsa Stars media that the outing which was concluded on February 4, 2018, confirmed the readiness of the Lusaka based team to participate in this year’s league competition.
Napsa Stars finished on seventh position last season with 58 points from the 38 games played.
But coach Changala says he is confident that the team will do a better job this season stressing that the response towards training was more on a higher level this time around.
“I am confident that the team will give the club a much better and deserved result this year because what is put in is a lot and the team needs to pay back to its sponsors. I see Napsa in top four this season,” Changala said.
The team also held practice matches in Livingston with division one side Zesco Victoria Falls and Maramba Stars respectively.
