NAPSA Stars FC captain Dickson chapa says the team will work extra hard to make the club fans and management happy this season.
Chapa said in interview with Napsa Starts FC media that everyone wants to see the team do better this year, adding that all players have agreed on working extra hard to make things better this year.
The newly appointed captain said the team has prepared adequately for this season, saying everyone is focused on one goal, which is to see Napsa compete on continental football.
Napsa finished seventh last season with 58 points.
Asked on how old players are mingling with new players, Chapa said there was nothing like new and old players in football, stressing that players are the same everywhere.
“It’s football when any season ends, you expect new players in the next season. We have already created a bond between the new and old players because we are all brothers with the same goal, everyone is interacting so well with anyone in the team, ” The captain said.
Chapa added that it was normal to miss the services of the players who have left the team, but strongly emphasized that this was a new season for NAPSA to create history, adding that focus should now shift to that.
He said the team has targeted the Barclays cup title and fighting for the top slot this season.
