NAPSA Stars Football Club head Coach Mohamed Fathi has assured Napsa Stars FC board and fans that the team will survive relation this season.
Fathi said this after today’s 2-0 loss to Green Eagles in a week 22 FAZ/MTN super league match played at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka, that he is doing all he can together with his technical bench, to ensure that the team survives.
Napsa only has 12 points and lying 18th on the log after playing 22 games.
Coach Fathi who took over affairs at the club in week 19, said Napsa will soon start picking maximum points, assuring that in the next five games the team will be on a safe position.
“I promised the executive that the team will be on a safe position after eight games, we have played three and getting two points is a big blow, but I can assure you that the next five games we shall pick up something and be on a safe position,” Fathi said.
The coach also added that he will be making changes to his side this transfer window, saying he has already identified the areas that he needs to beef up in order for the team to start recording maximum points.
“We shall soon announce those that we have already identified once we are done with negotiations with their respective clubs. Otherwise everything will be okay very soon this I can assure our fans,”Fathi added.
Napsa will play Lusaka Dynamos FC in the next match scheduled for Saturday at Nkoloma Stadium. The match will be live on Super sport at 12:30hours.
