NAPSA Stars FC team captain Dickson Chapa says everyone is working hard to see the team survive.
Chapa said in an interview with Napsa Stars FC media that the morale in training is high and every one knows what is at stake.
The team captain who has been with Napsa since the 2016 season, explains that this season did not begin well for the team, but adds on to say that everyone is working as a team to see Napsa survive relegation.
Napsa is currently on 17th position with 29 points from the 31 games played.
“I can admit we did not start on a good note, and that is the past. we are now focusing on now and how we are going to leave the relegation zone fast. I am very confident that we shall survive because there is team spirit among us and that is the number one motivation,” Chapa said.
The skipper added that going nine games unbeaten was another indication that the team was working tirelessly not to lose points.
He added that the team wants to see the sponsors and their fans happy because of the support given to the team since the league started.
“All we can assure our fans and sponsors is that we are doing all we can to see us win our matches and be on a safe position on the log. We are working as a team and we trust and believe that this shall come to pass because we are working together and putting God first,” Chapa added.
Napsa this weekend travels to Monze to meet Monze Swallows at Lwengu Sports Complex, with the skipper assuring 3 points from there.
The match has been set for 14:00hours.
