NAPSA Stars FC team captain Dickson Chapa says the team will pick both the positives and negatives from the just ended season, to help in the coming season.
Chapa was saying this today when the team met to close off the season which saw NAPSA end on fifth position with 24 points.
Team head coach Mohamed Fathi has given the team a four-week rest before preparations for the August 2019/2020 season commences.
Chapa said the team did not manage to finish the Transitional League Season in top two as targeted, but was quick to add that the team moved a step ahead from where they finished in the 2018 season.
NAPSA in the 2018 league season finished on 14th position, and could only manage to escape the relegation zone with two games remaining for the league to close.
“A step ahead is good motivation for us. Of course we have not finished where we wanted to finish but looking at how things were last year, I believe we are learning and moving forward, “Chapa said.
The team Captain also thanked the sponsors and fans for their continued support to the team.
And the technical bench led by Mohamed Fathi has advised the players to take care of themselves during this given holiday saying there was a lot to work in the coming season.
The team is back in training on July 3rd, 2019 to prepare for the next season.
