NAPSA Stars FC head coach Mohamed Fathi has described the just ended season as that which was competitive and unpredictable.
Coach Fathi said the goal was to finish in top two but finishing fifth in Stream B was no minor achievement for this NAPSA sponsored side looking at how the 2018 season turned out for the team.
NAPSA Stars in the 2018 season finished on 14th position after 36 games played.
The Egyptian national has also thanked his players for the job well done, but has also emphasized on adding extra effort in the 2019/2020 season to come.
“We had a fair season, everyone really fought hard, the season was not as easy as it looked because every team was fighting hard and at the end of the day it was time for those that went through to the top two, ” Fathi said.
Green Eagles emerged winners of Stream B while Buildcon came out second.
Meanwhile, coach Fathi has given his team a four-week break urging each and every player to take good care of themselves saying their careers depends on how well they take care of themselves.
The team is expected back in training on July 3rd.
