Stanbic Bank Zambia Chief executive officer Leina Gabaranne has challenged Mohamed Fathi’s coached side Napsa Stars FC to contest for top slot this coming season.
Mr. Gabaranne told the team during a sponsorship signing ceremony held at Napsa Sports and Recreation Club today which saw Stanbic Bank Zambia pump in $70,000 to co-sponsor the club.
The Stanbic boss who hopes that the partnership between the two organisations goes a long way, emphasised that his bank is number one in the country, hence the need for Napsa Stars FC to work hard to help raise the Stanbic Bank Zambia flag higher.
The sponsorship was well received by club Chairperson Mr. Zingani Phiri in the presence of NAPSA director General Mr. Yollard Kachinda.
“We had a number of requests but we settled for Napsa Stars FC. We have a lot of confidence in the team and we do not believe in anything but being number one and we know Napsa will work hard to come out first,” Mr. Gabaranne said.
The two signed a six months renewable contract.
