The pensioners today face another tough test when they meet Red Arrows FC in a week four encounter slated for 15hours at Woodlands Stadium in Lusaka.
This is a must watch fixture for most soccer fans looking at how both teams have not lost a single game since the league started. Both Arrows and Napsa are enjoying nine points bagged from the three matches played so far.
Coach Mohamed Fathi has picked his strong 18-man squad to take on Red Arrows in today’s match with the coach advising his side to put in maximum effort in collecting another three points.
Napsa is coming from a one nil win away from Lusaka Dynamos going into this game, while Red Arrows are also coming from a win recorded against Power Dynamos FC.
Coach Fathi said in his pre-match interview yesterday after his team’s last training session ahead of this encounter that Napsa is taking this game with all the seriousness it deserves.
“It’s not an easy game and we have both not lost any game yet so there’s so much morale from both teams. We are advising the players to put in maximum effort into this match just like the past matches,” Fathi says.
And going into this game, Arrows has beaten Napsa three times in their last five meetings, while Napsa Stars has only enjoyed a 2 nil victory recorded in the last encounter the two teams were involved in. The other match result ended in a draw.
But these statistics do not seem to scare this Mohamed Fathi coached side which has commenced this league season on a high.
And seeing that Arrows are also in good form with veteran player James Chamanga who has continued scoring in almost every match, Napsa will need to put in 110% effort if they need to collect the three points from Arrows today.
The match is scheduled for Woodlands Stadium at 15:00hours with GBFC also hosting Lusaka Dynamos at 13:00hours, at the same venue.
